THE BEST WORDS

"The experience of being an exchange student is just amazing, you get the chance to meet people from many countries, learn a little bit of their culture and even know how to say something in their language (really only few words haha). It's just amazing to be an exchange student, you get the chance to grow up 10 years in 10 months. 
You get to learn another language, another culture, experience a life that YOU make your own choices, a life that most of us teenagers would love to have, without your parents trying to control yourself. But, after the "bye, see you soon" at the airport, you also get the chance to see how much you love them and how important your family is.
You get the chance to have a second family, a family that will always help you, love you as their own child.
Get the chance to see your country with another eyes, always knowing that is the best country in the world. The reason? Family, friends. They're the key.
You get the chance to say "Hi, nice to meet you" in one day, but in the next day say "You are one of my best friends, I will never forget you". Yes, you will bond with them. You will have the funniest moments with people you would never expect.
Being an exchange student helps you and makes you confuse at the same time. It means you are growing up, means you know how to make your own decisions, choices.
For the future exchange students: Be ready for the best year of your life!!! Have fun, spend time with your host family, make friends, don't be shy to tell someone trustable your problems. It will be weird, amazing, crazy, wonderful!! A mixture of happiness, sadness and a lot more feelings. It will be hard sometimes, some days you don't even want to do nothing, but if God put you here, it's for a reason that you probably won't understand in the beginning, but it's worth it in the end.
For the exchange students: It was hard in the beginning here, now it's hard to leave this life, a dream life. After this, you will be able to see how much you love and miss the people you left here. But we need to understand that everything that is good, will always have an end. Unfortunately. I'm sure that all of us after see how good our year was, will only want to live it all again with the same people at the same place. All the memories are in our heart, you will never forget anything that happened, friends, second FAMILY. Let's just be glad and thankful to God and our family for the opportunity they gave us!!
